Online Store

Novel Plants operates an online store offering live plants, gardening products, and related merchandise. Our store is powered by Shopify.

Some products are stocked, packed, and shipped by independent supplier and fulfillment partners, including partners connected to Novel Plants through Shopify Collective.

Products

We work to provide accurate product names, descriptions, specifications, photographs, pricing, availability, growing information, and care information.

Live plants are natural products. The plant you receive will not necessarily look identical to the plant shown in a photograph. Natural variations in size, shape, branching, foliage, coloration, leaf count, growth stage, and seasonal appearance are normal.

Plant sizes and measurements are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Growing zones, mature sizes, growth rates, sunlight requirements, care recommendations, and similar horticultural information describe typical conditions and are not guarantees of future plant performance.

Availability

Product availability may change at any time because live inventory changes continuously.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, correct listing errors, or cancel an item that is unavailable, restricted from shipment to your destination, or affected by a material pricing or listing error.

If we cancel an item after payment has been collected, the amount paid for that item will be refunded.

Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may change without notice.

Taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and other applicable charges are calculated and displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment, billing, and shipping information when placing an order.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance or fulfillment. An order may be declined or canceled when necessary because of inventory availability, shipping restrictions, suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, or other circumstances that prevent fulfillment.

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled after they are placed.

Orders are transmitted automatically to fulfillment partners so processing can begin quickly. Please verify your order details, products, quantities, shipping address, and payment information before completing checkout.

Shipping

Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery information are displayed at checkout when available.

Products may ship from different fulfillment locations and may arrive in separate packages. A single order may therefore have multiple tracking numbers and delivery dates.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Carrier delays, weather, agricultural restrictions, holidays, seasonal conditions, and other circumstances outside our control can affect delivery.

Live-plant shipments may also be delayed when weather conditions could damage plants in transit.

Returns and Refunds

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Return requests are submitted through your Novel Plants customer account. Eligible approved returns include free return shipping and have no restocking fee.

For products fulfilled through Shopify Collective, return processing, return labels, receipt of returned merchandise, and supplier refunds may be handled directly by the applicable fulfillment partner through Shopify's return system.

Plant Guarantee

Certain plants are covered by a fulfillment partner's plant guarantee. Guarantee eligibility and available resolutions depend on the product, fulfillment partner, timing of the claim, and condition of the plant.

An eligible claim may result in a replacement, refund, or other resolution.

Shipping Restrictions

Live plants are subject to federal, state, and local agricultural restrictions.

Some products cannot legally or safely be shipped to certain destinations. Availability shown during checkout determines whether an item is currently eligible for shipment to the address provided.

Receiving Live Plants

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for retrieving delivered packages promptly.

After delivery, plant survival and performance depend on environmental conditions and ongoing care, including temperature, watering, sunlight, soil, planting conditions, pests, disease, and local climate.

Customer Accounts

Customer accounts provide access to order history, order status, and eligible self-service return requests.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of access to your account and email address.

Website Content

Content provided on Novel Plants, including photographs, product descriptions, plant guides, care information, articles, graphics, branding, and other materials, is owned by Novel Plants or used with permission from its respective owners.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, scrape, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit website content without authorization.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website for unlawful activity, fraud, interference with website operation, unauthorized access, distribution of malicious software, collection of information about other users without authorization, or violation of another person's intellectual property or legal rights.
