Refund policy

30-Day Returns

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To request a return, sign in to your Novel Plants customer account, open the applicable order, and select the option to request a return. Return eligibility is determined automatically based on the return rules associated with your order.

Please do not ship an item back unless a return has been approved and return instructions have been provided.

Return Shipping

Approved returns include free return shipping. We do not charge return-label fees or restocking fees.

Some products are shipped directly by independent fulfillment partners through Shopify Collective. When applicable, the fulfillment partner provides the return shipping label and receives the returned item directly.

Live Plants

Live plants are natural products and may vary in shape, size, coloration, leaf count, and appearance from product photographs.

Eligible plant issues reported within 30 days of delivery, including plants that arrive damaged, unhealthy, or incorrect, may qualify for a refund, replacement, or other resolution under the applicable fulfillment partner's plant guarantee.

Novel Plants' primary plant fulfillment partner currently provides a 30-day plant guarantee.

Refunds

After an approved return is received and processed, or an eligible plant claim is approved, the applicable refund is issued automatically to the original payment method.

After the refund is issued, your bank or payment provider determines how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account.

Original shipping charges, if any, are refundable only when required by the applicable return or fulfillment policy.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled after they are placed.

Orders are transmitted to our fulfillment partners automatically so that processing can begin as quickly as possible. Please review your products, quantities, shipping address, and payment information carefully before completing checkout.

Separate Shipments

Products in the same order may be fulfilled by different partners and may arrive in separate shipments. Return eligibility and return instructions are handled separately for each applicable item.

How to Start a Return

Sign in to your Novel Plants customer account, select your order, and submit a return request for the applicable item. There is no need to contact the fulfillment partner directly.
