Where We Ship

Novel Plants ships to destinations made available during checkout.

Because many of our products are live plants, shipping availability can depend on the specific product, destination, season, weather conditions, and federal, state, or local agricultural restrictions.

If no shipping option is available for an item at checkout, that item is not currently available for shipment to the address provided.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment is submitted.

If checkout displays Free Shipping, no shipping charge will be added for the applicable items.

Shipping rates can vary by product, destination, and fulfillment partner. The shipping rate displayed at checkout is the rate that applies to the order.

Order Processing

Orders are transmitted automatically to the applicable fulfillment partner after they are placed so processing can begin as quickly as possible.

Some products are fulfilled directly by independent supplier and fulfillment partners, including partners connected to Novel Plants through Shopify Collective.

Processing time occurs before a package is transferred to the shipping carrier. Carrier transit estimates do not necessarily include fulfillment or processing time.

Delivery Estimates

Available shipping methods and estimated delivery information are displayed during checkout when available.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery timing can be affected by order processing, carrier conditions, weather, holidays, agricultural restrictions, destination, and other circumstances outside our control.

Live-plant shipments may also be delayed when a fulfillment partner determines that weather or shipping conditions could place the plant at risk.

Tracking

Tracking information is provided automatically when it becomes available from the fulfillment partner or carrier.

Customers can view available tracking information and order status through their Novel Plants customer account and through shipping notifications associated with the order.

Multiple Shipments

Items within the same order may be fulfilled from different locations or by different fulfillment partners.

As a result, a single order may arrive in multiple packages, on different dates, and with separate tracking numbers.

There is no additional shipping charge solely because an order is divided into multiple shipments unless a charge was disclosed during checkout.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

Because orders are transmitted to fulfillment partners automatically, shipping-address changes cannot be guaranteed after an order is placed.

Please verify the recipient name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state, ZIP code, and other delivery information before completing checkout.

Receiving Live Plants

Live plants should be retrieved from the delivery location and brought into an appropriate environment promptly after delivery.

Plants can be affected by prolonged exposure to heat, cold, direct sunlight, or other outdoor conditions after the carrier completes delivery.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Eligible Return Items

If an item arrives damaged, unhealthy, incorrect, or otherwise qualifies for return under our Refund Policy, submit a return request through your Novel Plants customer account.

Eligible returns are processed through our self-service return system. Customers should not send products directly to Novel Plants or to a fulfillment partner unless return instructions have been provided through the approved return process.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Carrier tracking information should be used to monitor shipments in transit.

A shipment that is still moving through the carrier network or experiencing a carrier delay is not considered lost solely because it arrives later than the original estimate.

If an order becomes eligible for a refund, replacement, or other resolution, the applicable process is governed by our Refund Policy and the fulfillment partner responsible for the shipment.

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled after they are placed.

Orders are transmitted automatically to fulfillment partners so fulfillment can begin quickly. Please review all order and shipping information carefully before completing checkout.

Shipping Policy Changes

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to shipping methods, fulfillment partners, business practices, or applicable requirements.

The shipping terms presented at checkout and the version of this policy in effect when an order is placed apply to that order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
