Opening a box of living greenery is exciting. Give the plant a few careful minutes before you decide where it belongs.

Unpack and inspect

Open the package promptly and remove protective wrapping. Check the leaves, stems, pot, and soil. A little travel wear can happen, but if the plant or packaging appears damaged, take clear photos of the plant, shipping box, and label, then contact us promptly so we can help.

Check moisture before watering

Feel the growing medium rather than watering by the calendar. If it feels dry, water the root zone thoroughly and let excess water drain. If it is already moist, give it time. Let light and temperature guide placement
